Operation Christmas Child
Sharon S., one of our advisors for the Keaau Interact Club, encouraged members' support for Operation Christmas Child. This is a project for our Interact and Rotaract Clubs. Please donate items that the Interactors and Rotaractors will pack into Christmas boxes for children in other countries with age range of 2-4, 5-9, and 10-14. Suggested donations include bar soap, toothbrush, comb, small doll or toy, pens, pencils, crayons, underwear, slippers, shoes, socks, notebook. The items must be small enough to fit in a shoe box. Bring your donation (items or monetary) to the next three meetings. Go to http://www.operationchristmaschild.org for more donation suggestions or to learn about the project.

Carol V., recently returned from a trip to Japan with an exciting update from our sister club in Japan. Our Sister Rotary Club in Japan – Higashi-Hiroshima Rotary Club – has provided an itinerary for any of our members who are able to participate in their May 2017 celebration. Due to limited flight and hotel space, we (Miyuki Lee & Carol VanCamp – co-chairs for this excursion) are asking that those who would like to participate let us know by Dec.1st, 2016. Click here for more details.
