Clint Shroeder, our District Governor, inspired our club to become involved or at least appreciate the work of Rotary internationally. Clint recently participated in India administering the polio vaccine. Our District 5000 will be organizing two international missions later this Rotary year-- stay tuned, think about stepping out of our comfort zones. Whether it be in India or our own backyards, DG Shroeder emphasized the opportunity we have as a club to make a difference. "If you want to go fast . . . go alone; if you want to go far . . go together" (African saying).
