“At the end of the day, it's not about what you have or even what you've accomplished. It's about what you've done with those accomplishments. Its about who you've lifted up, who you've made better. It about what you've given back"
- Denzel Washington
Quote of the day:
"At a dinner party one should eat wisely but not too well, and talk well but not too wisely."

Dr. Walter Dudley, co-founder of the Pacific Tsunami Museum spoke to our club via Zoom about the importance of remaining vigilant on the preparedness for the next inevitable Tsunami.
It is not a question of if there will be another Tsunami related natural disaster to hit Hilo, the problem is that quite a bit of time has passed from the prior monumental events of 1946 and 1960. Although advance warning systems and ability to predict wave heights are much improved, complacency can naturally set in or complete unawareness of seriousness of these events, especially with other realities competing for attention these days.
Although the Pacific Tsunami Museum is closed during the current crisis, please consider a membership as a way to support its continued mission or plan to visit once it re-opens.
