Healthcare with heart. Introduced by Alan N., Dr. Stefan Harmeling conveyed his vision "of an integrative and holistic medical center to improve equal access to quality healtcare and transform the health and wellness of our Hawaii Island community." The existing Aloha Nui Family Practice, located at 69 Lanihuli Street, would be expanded to an 8200 s.f. facility under a new name, The Dan Harmeling Medial & Wellness Center. This facility would enable attracting and retaining an integrated staff of physicians, family nurse practitioners, nursing staff, and business administrators. Dr. Harmeling explained his approach to healthcare and how this facility would improve the health and wellness of our community.
Sharon S.-- $5 happy for upcoming Viking River Cruise for 3 weeks from Budapest to Amsterdam. Hope to visit 2-3 clubs in Europe to share our club banner. Traveling with Phoebe & Jim Lambeth. Will miss Oktoberfest but have sold all 6 tickets, contributed to silent auction, and obtained the liquor license.
Steve J.-- $3 happy that daughter, Kapualani, found an apartment in Boston, but had to pay a 50% of monthly rent finders fee.
Mary B.-- $5 to let club members know that helping people find a rental in most communities is 2x the monthly rent, so Steve's daughter got a good deal.
Paula U.-- $5 happy about wonderful visit with daughter and her hubby and 1.5 year old and 2-month old grandchildren in Washington state.
Karolyn L.-- $5 happy to have Assistant DG, Alan Kusunoki, sitting at the same table, and for Dayday doing a fantastic job with the Oktoberfest tickets. We are lucky to have her in our club.
