Today's Inspiration
“'A'ohe pu'u ki'eki'e ke ha 'ā'o 'ia e pi'i."
Translation: No cliff is so tall it cannot be climbed.
Meaning: Every problem is an opportunity to learn, dream, express our creativity, think logically to find a solution. Believe in ourselves, we have the tools we need to do anything we wish.

Sandra Wagner-Wright - ($5) Happy for her birthday.
Richard Cunningham - ($140) Happy. $100 to HRYF and the other 40 for his age.

Art Taniguchi - ($5) Happy. He reached out to Kalika Kastein and met virtually with Kalika and her supervisor and he is discussing possible joint peace project we can be involved in. While Kalika is in New Zealand, the company she works for is based out of Hiroshima.
Chester Cabral - ($20) Happy. $10 to acknowledge that Richard is one year older than him and $10 to celebrate the van donated to the Boys and Girls Club by TMT.
Virginia Juettner - ($10) Happy. She was pleased to participate in the hand off of items to the Veteran's home yesterday and gave kudos to the Rotarians that were involved and/or contributed to the project.
Tim Hansen - ($5) Happy for a variety of reasons. He was pleased to be a part of the presentation to the YWCA, he is visiting in-laws in Southern California. RYLA (happening Feb. 26 and 27, 2021) is shaping up. Tim also announced that Annika, the peace candidate we sponsored was not chosen, and is encouraging her to apply again next year. He reported that she is teaching in Chuk and is challenged with the effects of COVID on the school systems. There is a shortage of teachers and supplies. He has asked how RCHB might be able to support her and she will be in contact in the near future. More to follow.
Richard C. announced that in last Thursday's Hawaii Tribune Herald, there was an article that showcased the veterinary student Kealaka`i "Ala" Matsumoto. The article can be found in the 11/5/2020 HTH paper and on the HTH website.
