After the inspirations, two by Virginia and one by Art, President Steven announced that the Oktober Fest committee was on track to create another memorable event. The committee is requesteing that each Rotarian donate $100 in gift cards for they silent auction. Sharon Sheely is still looking for a few more members to fill out a table at the Junior Achievement Banquet.
President Steven called upon DG Ted Faigal to introduce Hilo Bay Rotary Club's newest member Luana Gibson. Lauan is the Hawaiian Airlines Station Manager at the Hilo Bay Airport and was sponsored by Art Taniguich. We will have more background on Launa in a future newsletter.
