Speaker: Members   Topic: Draw a Question – Getting-to-Know-YOU Q&A
Members were engaged with warm positive interactions when they pulled a question at random, that President Tim prepared.  Members shared personal stories, travel plans and past travel experiences, expressions of appreciation. Also, career reflections and service motivations, background passions and experiences.

One example was for new member, Victoria Adams who is an MS English Teacher at St. Joseph High School in Hilo. Her question?  Why did she join Rotary?  “She joined Rotary when the school principal asked her to be the Interact Adviser for the Rotary Interactors, with the Youth Services Chair from the Rotary Club of Hilo Bay. But really, her Godparents were very active Rotarians. They were smart, funny, and loving people.  My memories of them are so fond. They would be happy I have followed their footsteps.”
A decision was agreed to revisit questions in another meeting.
