Inspiration: Virginia Juettner – Sept. 8th marks International Literacy Day. Started in 1967, the day serves as a reminder to world leaders, policymakers and the public of the “critical importance of literacy for creating more literate, just, peaceful and a sustainable society.”

- Alan Okinaka was awarded Rotarian of the Month! He’s been working hard to get Rotaract off the ground and to date, has signed 43 students from HCC & UH-Hilo!
